Love this poem to Pavelski. 💖
Fitting and fun ode to Berkeley icon Wavy Gravy. Nice work and reading, Paul Auday!❤ 😃
Great Poem Pauly! RIP Grateful Red ❤
Any old rocker who had a brass band backing him was automatically aces in my book. The movie "Grease" centered around the action at "Rydell High School," named in his honor. Did ya know that?
Thanks for all the music and memories
Keep on rocking
John Fuqua admitted he never touched the ball and Jack Tatum hit him too hard and fast
His Music makes him come alive. Heaven can be so lucky.
Why is there only one comment? MLB’s H🔥T STOVE made me quite curious about Jake Peavy’s musical prowess, and I am impressed. Looks like he has a lot of fun and he needs a songwriter so he can open up his world to more opportunities. Ket’s get him on Billboard’s Top 100!⚾️🎸🎵🎤🎶
Fun rundown!
Take a look at some of those players on the all-time home run list, Kingman is certainly with some good company there!!
Omgggg mr auday
What you mean
What the heck he is my uncle
One of my all time favorite songs and I have the original album too.
Awesome. When Football was Football. Always A Raiders Fan . Watching those two play as a kid 1st Pop Warner team Fullerton Raiders 1969 🏴☠️🏴☠️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Mark Grace of the Cubs was a close second

❤🐟❣
RIP Sal Bando.
Such a beautiful day!
Ask Ted if Mike Curtis should be in the HOF?
Kingman was my favorite player for the Mets in the 70's and early 80's.
Growing up in Oakland, seeing him throw like that made me think everyone did.
What kid didn't drop back and throw a deep one and hook up and say..just like the mad bomber...
Tito was/is great
my uncle! love u D Lew
Dick Green had an interesting career. Started with the woeful KC A's then followed the franchise to Oakland and won three World Series.
I had the honor of meeting Mr Shantz twice at the Philadelphia Protestant home. My wife works there and I had the honor of volunteering there at the baseball club. He is by far the most approachable humbled sports figure I have ever met in my entire life! And those of you who are lucky enough to have met him would agree with me. My dad who I truly love had me when he was 41. He would tell me about the good old days of baseball. Meeting Bobby was like a great bridge that joined all generations! Through his conversation I finally got a taste and feel what the good old days of baseball we're all about! God bless you Mr Shantz and for all you do!!!
The Hall of Fame committee needs to root out all of the politics and put this man in along with Joe Jacoby and Mike Curtis.
I remember him mostly for those glaring eyes.
RIP DL The Mad Bomber. From Raider Nation. RN4L.
Great Nose Tacke!
The Mad Stork! Legend!
We miss you Bobby R.I.P.
I can't believe he kept smoking even after heart surgery...what a waste
Get over yourself everyone is gonna die
Most underrated QB in history of pro football. I won’t even debate it……….and I was a Jet fan……..AFL!AFL!
I enjoyed and miss the AFL. Thankfully there are AFL videos here on RUclips.
My man needs to sit down and breathe
NEVER LOST THE VOICE
Dear Bobby Rydell, rest in peace.
Marv was an animal. A great guy on your team for sure. HATED to lose. I once called the 2nd foul, excuse me, the 2nd T on him in a basketball game. Took three raiders to take him to locker room. Coincidentally, my classmates and I were at the very first practice the raiders had because they used our high school in 1959. We were at summer school.
REST IN PEACE BOBBY!!!!
It was a great play ! Quit whining ! I saw it on TV , I loved it 🙏
Get outta here!
I grew up a Raider fan. I was 12 when this game occurred; it ruined my Christmas. However, in watching the replays, I think it is clear the officials made the right call. I blame Tatum. If Jack would have just knocked the ball down, the game is near forgotten history; but no- Tatum was more interested in knocking someone into next week. As a result, the ball touched him and the force he applied propelled the ball to Harris.
Well, Tatum succeeded in knocking Fuqua--and his Steeler teammates--into next week, and next week's AFC Championship game.
Hubbard is right. The head official went to the phone and called security and said “If I tell you that what happened is not a legal play how many policemen can you give us to get outtta here?” The guy on the phone said “Six”. The official replied “SIX??? ok then that’s Six for Pittsburgh!”.
thank you for the thrills and the memories, Raiders
is he out of tune?
They are both football legends, of great courage, with stellar careers. That said, a lot of excuses here. Tatum himself wrote that he could have broken up the pass. Instead he went head hunting on Frenchy Fuqua, just for the joy of it. That's raider fault number one. Then there's not pushing the player out of bounds violating the most cardinal rule in football. Play to the whistle. That said, they are correct about the rule at that time. They did get screwed by the technical rule, however this was in the pre-replay era. There were countless games that were decided by bad calls at that time. Even with replay, it still happens to this day.
Where's there ol friend Melton?
RIP Marv Hubbard.
Friend of mine, good friends too.
